FAYETTEVILLE, AR - University of Arkansas trustees are to consider a tuition increase when they meet on Friday.
On the table is a proposed tuition hike of 3.95 percent, which university officials say would be the lowest rate of increase since 1987.
Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration Don Pederson says the increase proposal is lower this year because the university is getting more information from the state.
Base undergraduate in-state tuition is to increase from $153.01 to $159.05 per credit hour.
The university says housing and parking costs are also to rise.
