Gas Prices Decrease from Last Week's Record Highs

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Average gas prices in Arkansas dipped today after breaking records in the past two weeks.

Around the state, average gas prices backed down from last week's high.  Today, gas is cheapest in Texarkana, with the average price of a gallon of unleaded gas at $2.95.

Gas continued to be the most expensive in northwest Arkansas, with average prices of $3.24 in the Fayetteville, Springdale and Rogers area, and $3.22 in Fort Smith.
