Bank Robber Arrested at West Memphis Dog Track

WEST MEMPHIS, AR - Douglas Wayne Hoskinson is a confessed bank robber.  Apparently, he was caught trying to gamble with some of his stolen money at a West Memphis dog track.

Police say the 50-year-old Hoskinson was arrested Friday at Southland Park after being sought for a robbery last week at a North Little Rock branch of Metropolitan National Bank.  According to police, Hoskinson has since confessed to also robbing other banks in Arkansas and Oklahoma.

While being interviewed by the FBI, agents say Hoskinson confessed to robbing banks in Little Rock and Conway, as well as three others in Oklahoma.  The suspect remains in the FBI's custody.
