Pocahontas Voters Pass Hospital Tax

POCAHONTAS, AR - Voters in favor of a tax to help fund the financially-troubled Randolph County Medical Center are happy this morning.

Just over 1,400 registered voters in Pocahontas turned out yesterday to decide the fate of a proposed tax to buy and operate the hospital.  Almost 97 percent of the voters approved the measure.
