Berry Still Wealthiest Among Arkansas Congressional Delegation

LITTLE ROCK, AR - First District Congressman and Arkansas County farmer Marion Berry remains the richest member of the state's congressional delegation.  In documents released yesterday, the Democrat from Gillett reported assets ranging from $1.98 million to $7.13 million.

The financial disclosure reports for 2006 show that Berry reported between $56,208 and $183,700 in outside income in addition to his congressional salary.

The statements do not require officeholders to disclose exact amounts.  Instead, they list their income, assets and liabilities within a value range.
