Greene County Tech Hosting Planning Session for New High School Tonight

PARAGOULD, AR - Greene County Tech School District officials and administrators will host a public "planning meeting" tonight at the high school cafeteria to discuss a potential new high school for the district.

In late April, Tech administrators got the good news that the district is in line for approximately $27 million in state funds to be used for new facilities.  It didn't take the administration long to figure out where that money would be used, as most of the buildings on the high school campus are at least 40 years old, with the notable exception of the multi-purpose building/gymnasium.  The oldest building on the Tech High campus dates back to 1948.

Tonight's meeting begins at 7 p.m.
