Hot Springs Wants Another H.O.G. Rally

HOT SPRINGS, AR - Hot Springs boosters hope to land another Harley motorcycle rally after more than 3,700 bikers roared out of the resort town this month.  The group has held yearly rallies in Hot Springs in years past also but voted this year to hold the rally in Fort Smith in 2008.  Steve Arrison of the city's Convention and Visitors Bureau says national Harley representatives who were at the rally in Hot Springs this year indicated they may be interested in having another Harley event in late June next year.

One consideration is the Hot Springs Music Festival.  Music Festival organizers had to make numerous changes to work around the noise generated by the Harleys this month, and were left wondering whether they could even hold the festival next year if the H.O.G. Rally returned at the same time.
