NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - Around 30 homes were evacuated Monday after a faulty drainage system caused flooding up to six feet deep in some spots. The Little Rock area was hit hard by rain yesterday afternoon and evening.
The North Little Rock Fire Department used boats to evacuate people affected by the flooding around 4th Street, and drivers were forced to leave their cars. The drainage system had been fixed by 9 p.m. last night, enabling residents to return home. The Red Cross will assess damage today.
