Sorting Out Revisions Of Arkansas' Grocery Tax

REGION 8 -  If you've been to the grocery store this week - you may have noticed you're paying less. That's because Arkansas cut the grocery tax from six cents per dollar to three cents per dollar.  However, some grocers and shoppers are confused over the change.

While the sales tax was cut in half - it doesn't effect all food items. Foods prepared at the store will still be charged the six percent tax, Something that could make shoppers take a closer look at what they're buying.
