TEXARKANA, AR - A man who allegedly jumped from a bridge into the Red River last month in Miller County still has not been found.
Jody Cook, 32, was reported by a friend and his wife to have jumped into the river at Doddridge in Miller County on June 16.
No body was found and Cook has not turned up alive, either. Cook had a rape charge pending at the time of the jump, and he is due in court on Tuesday. Prosecutors say that without Cook being confirmed dead, the charge will remain in force. If he does not show at court Tuesday, prosecutors say an arrest warrant will be issued.
A 5-day search in the river followed Cook's alleged jump from 100 feet up on the Highway 160 bridge.
