Boats Collide, 1 Still Missing

YELLVILLE, AR - A Missouri man is missing after two boats collided on Bull Shoals lake over the weekend.  Authorities say seven people, including two from Mammoth Spring, were injured in the crash late Saturday and they were taken to hospitals.  Marion County Sheriff Carl McBee says officers were searching for Keith Akridge, who was driving one of the boats.

Akridge was driving a Supra Spirit pleasure boat.  The passengers were Brenda Akridge, Emily Akridge, Amber Wolf, John Houser, and Robert Ginther, all from Missouri.  Their hometowns were not immediately available.

Two Mammoth Spring fishermen, Wesley Rogers and his father Douglas Rogers, were on a Champion bass boat.  Wesley Rogers was driving.
