Storms Rake State, More in Forecast

LITTLE ROCK, AR - The National Weather Service says more thunderstorms are possible across the state today, with the south and central portions of Arkansas under the greatest threat.

Yesterday, storms packing high winds knocked out power to 7,100 Entergy Arkansas customers in Garland County.  Most had their power back by evening.

Two homes were damaged in Clark County when trees fell on them.  In Saline County, a home was damaged when it was struck by lightning.

Trees were also downed in Little Rock and in Perry County.

The weather service says daily chances of showers and thunderstorms will continue for the next seven days.
