SeMo Authorities Searching for Ex-Butler County Clerk

POPLAR BLUFF, MO - Authorities in southeast Missouri are on the lookout for a former Butler County clerk who is accused of sexually assaulting at least one young girl in Ripley County.

Police say 60-year-old John Dunivan of Poplar Bluff was last seen one week ago in the Poplar Bluff area, driving a red 2000 Toyota Tacoma pick-up.  The truck is equipped with a camper shell and has a Missouri license tag reading 241-NN4.

Dunivan served for twenty years as the clerk of Butler County before his retirment last year.  He faces charges of first-degree statutory sodomy for alleged relations with an 11-year-old girl in June.
