Paragould Police Arrest Four Men in Vehicle Theft Ring

PARAGOULD, AR - Detectives with the Paragould Police Department yesterday arrested four men in connection with several recent vehicle thefts in the city.

The arrests of 26-year-old Steven Menasco, 18-year-old John Ball, 18-year-old Charles Whisenant, and 18-year-old Steve Lloyd, all of Paragould, were made after detectives served a search warrant on a residence at 500 East Main Street in Paragould.  There, police reportedly recovered several stolen items, plus evidence that led to the recovery of a stolen 2000 Ford Mustang.  The car was recovered from the St. Francis River at Williams Landing in Dixie.  Paragould officers were assisted in the car's recovery by the Craighead County Sheriff's Department Dive Team.

The four suspects are charged with numerous counts of breaking & entering, vehicle theft, and residential burglary.
