Hughes Police Dispatcher Arrested for Shoplifting

HUGHES, AR - A Hughes police dispatcher has been arrested on a theft charge in a shoplifting case.  Stephanie Fuller, 37, was arrested on a charge of theft of property worth less than $500 involving alleged shoplifting at a Family Dollar Store.

Fuller is to appear August 13 in St. Francis County District Court.  Police Chief A.J. Christian said Fuller has been suspended from her job but was still with the department.  Sheriff Bobby May said several people from Hughes are expected to be arrested in connection with the case.
