Jerry Lawler Found 'Not Guilty' on Assault Charges

TUNICA, MS - Memphis-based professional wrestler and announcer Jerry "The King" Lawler was found not guilty this morning in a Tunica, Mississippi courtroom.

Lawler faced assault-related charges stemming from an incident in a recent wrestling match he had in Tunica with fellow wrestler Sal Corrente, who bills himself as "The Big Cheese."  Corrente claimed that Lawler hit him three times during the match due to a scuffle with a fan in the building's front row.

Lawler maintained that there was nothing unusual about what happened.
