Arkansas Man Charged in Fatal Stabbing in Branson

BRANSON, MO - Proscecutors are charging a man from Little Rock in a fatal stabbing in Branson last month.

Terry Lynn Huey is charged with second-degree murder, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.

Taney County prosecutor Jeff Merrell says he is seeking a bond of $500,000 for Huey.  Huey is currently in jail in nearby Boone County, Arkansas (Harrison) on an unrelated charge.

The victim was 48-year-old Dewayne Lynn of Harrison.  He died of a stab wound in the shoulder that severed a main artery.

Lynn's death was the first killing this year in the resort town and only the third since 2000.

Huey faces a maximum sentence of life in prison if he's convicted.
