Pemiscot County Deputies Asking For Help in Solving Convenience Store Theft

CARUTHERSVILLE, MO - Pemiscot County sheriff's deputies are asking for your help in solving the theft of a large amount of cash taken from a convenience store on the Arkansas-Missouri state line on Sunday.

According to Lt. Ryan Holder of the Sheriff's Department, video surveillance tapes show that a black male wearing a yellow t-shirt entered Carmac's Convenience Store near Holland, Missouri, at approximately 12:29 p.m.  Holder also says that surveillance video also showed that the suspect had been inside the store's office area, where he allegedly took money out of cash drawers, safes and money bags and placed the currency in his pockets.

Anyone with information about the crime is encouraged to contact the Pemiscot County Sheriff's Dept. at 573-333-4107 (ext. 3047).
