WYNNE, AR--James, "Shorty," Jacobs and his wife Jackie have been married for more than 54 years, but it's a gift they got on their 50th anniversay that makes a real impression on anyone that sees it.

The Jacobs granddaughter Stephanie Turner and her husband Buddy, gave them a photo album.  But this album doesn't have any pictures of the Jacobs, it's filled with autographed photos and congratulation letters from stars and dignataries from around the world.

Inside the pages, you'll find local, state and national politicians, like Ronald and Nancy Reagan, the Bush family, Jimmy Carter, Lady Bird Johnson, and even the leader of the United Nations. There are also plenty of movie stars from both then and now.  Names like Bill Cosby, Jeff Foxworthy, Phyllis Diller, Gilligan, Dolly Parton, The Captain and Tenille, Charlton Heston, Barbara Mandel, Florence Henderson, Fats Domino, Ed McMahon, Jay Leno, Steve Martin, and Mr. Rogers, just to name a few.  There are plenty of famous athletes too, including, Arnold Palmer, Muhammed Ali, Nancy Kerigan, Peggy Flemming, and Richard Simmons, alright, he's sort of an athlete.

Many of the photos are accompanied by hand written, personal, congratulation letters.  It's a gift the Jacobs say is truly amazing.  To this day they can't believe all the work that went into creating their album and all the people the responded.
