Rangers Offering Reward for Arsonists Targeting Ozark National Forest

DONIPHAN, MO - A reward is being offered for up to $1,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for setting arson fires on Mark Twain National Forest lands in Ripley, Oregon and Shannon counties earlier this month.

Between the days of August 8 and August 14, someone has set numerous fires on Forest land in and around those three counties.

Anyone with information about the fires is urged to contact the U.S. Forest Service at 417-683-4428 (ext. 136) or 573-996-2153 (ext. 115).
