Arrest Made in Cameron Smith Case

Jonesboro- It's been three months since the murder of 14 year old Cameron Smith and police have arrested a suspect in his killing.

JPD took Veodis Sills III into custody Saturday night around 7:00 p.m. with out incident. He faces charges of first degree murder for the death of the Jonesboro teen.

The 14 year old was shot and killed behind the Alpine Apartment complex on May 19. Soon after the shooting, police arrested 19 year old Oze Rucker in connection with the death.
