Jonesboro Banking Company Sues Michigan Men

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Jonesboro-based Liberty Bank of Arkansas has filed three lawsuits asking for a total of $20.2 million in unpaid principal, interest and fees tied to 16 different loans to Gaetano Rizzo and Dominic Geric, both of Michigan.

The documents were filed last Monday in Benton County Circuit Court and name Rizzo and Geric and their multiple companies.

In the first lawsuit, Liberty Bank seeks more than $9 million in unpaid principal and interest and begins foreclosure procedings against three different properties that include vacant lots surrounding an elementary school in Bentonville.

In the second suit, the bank seeks more than $9 million in unpaid principal and interest and asks for the foreclosure process to begin on five residential and commercial properties.  And in the third suit, Liberty seeks more than $1.6 million in unpaid principal and interest and asks for foreclosure proceedings to begin on eight properties that include residential lots and subdivisions in Benton County.
