Two Memphis Basketball Players Arrested; Coach Creates Curfew

MEMPHIS, TN - Two Memphis basketball players were charged with misdemeanors after police said they were involved in a disturbance at a Beale Street nightclub.

Sophomore forward Shawn Taggart and freshman guard Jeff Robinson were released on bond after the Sunday morning arrests.  They are scheduled to appear today in Shelby County Criminal Court on the charges of disorderly conduct and inciting a riot.

News of the arrest infuriated Memphis coach John Calipari.

Later in the day, he announced a seven-day-a-week team curfew and a no-nightclub policy.

The Tigers coach says he's waiting on a police and school investigation before determining appropriate punishment.
