Gene Williams Nominated to Branson Entertainment Hall of Fame

BRANSON, MO - Region 8 native and country music/television personality Gene Williams is among the inaugural nominees for the Branson Entertainment Hall of Fame.

The Dyess (Mississippi Co.) native was nominated along with Branson performers Roy Clark, Tony Orlando, Yakov Smirnoff, Jim Stafford, Ray Stevens, Mel Tillis, Andy Williams, and the late Boxcar Willie.  "It is an honor to be included in the first inaugural group of nominees who are such a great group of talented individuals, who support the Branson community," said Williams.

The Hall of Fame is located in the same building where Williams television show is taped each week.
