Agents Arrest 41 Alleged Illegals with Gang Ties

FAYETTEVILLE, AR - Authorities in northwest Arkansas say they have arrested 41 illegal aliens who are accused of having gang ties.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agent Rod Reyes says the suspects were arrested over seven days in Rogers, Springdale, Bentonville and Fayetteville.

Reyes says most of the arrests were in Rogers and Springdale.  He says some of those arrested will face charges for coming back into the country after being deported before.  Some face drug and weapons charges and some face only deportation.

Reyes said the roundup was conducted after local police agencies asked for help with gang problems involving illegal aliens.
