Jonesboro Woman Who Inspired Thousands Loses Battle With Cancer

JONESBORO (KAIT) -  A Jonesboro woman's battle against cancer ended this week, but not before capturing the attention of thousands of people around the world.

Kim McNabb's husband, Mark, created a blog for her to let friends and family know how she was doing in her fight against breast cancer. The McNabbs had no idea how many lives they were about to touch by sharing Kim's story and her faith on the internet.

Kim passed away Wednesday, September 19 at 4:53 a.m. at St. Bernards.  A testament to this daughter, wife and mother of four young children, Kim's blog became an inspiration to others.  Well-wishers logged on to her blog well over 61-thousand times leaving behind messages of hope and healing.  Even today, messages are being left at her blog:  http://www.kimsprayer.blogspot.com

Visitation for Kim will be from 5 to 7 p.m, Thursday September 20th, at the First United Methodist Church Chapel in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The church is located at 801 S. Main St, downtown.

Funeral services will be held at the First United Methodist Church Sanctuary in Jonesboro, on Friday, September 21st, at 4 p.m.

If you would like to consider memorials, there are two organizations that were close to her heart, and will be instrumental in helping to continue to raise our children, as well as many other children, in the Christian faith:

The Ridgefield Christian School Building Fund
