Ft. McCoy, WI--Bob Snell Reporting

875th Welcome in Wisconsin

September 23, 2007--Posted at 10:35 p.m. CDT

FT. McCOY, WI--Half of the soldiers from the 875th Engineer Battalion are back in the USA, and the other half is expected to arrive around 3:30 a.m. Monday morning.

As soon as the soldiers stepped off the plane Saturday, there were members of Arkansas' military to greet them with "wecome back, job well done."  As they approached the hanger, others clapped, cheered and offered hugs.

The men and women will spend the week at Ft. McCoy going through the demobilization process.  Guard officials say they are tentatively scheduled to return to Region 8 on Saturday.
