He's expected at an invitation-only event for supporters.  The media are not allowed.

Romney also is scheduled to make a campaign stop at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield around 3 p.m.

Romney is considered a leading candidate for the Republican presidential nomination.  He will be conducting press interviews during his stop at the airport.

Romney's campaign says he will announce a leadership team to help organize grassroots efforts in Missouri.

It lists nine state legislators who join Missouri Governor Blunt, Missouri House Speaker Rod Jetton and former Senator Jim Talent in supporting Romney's bid for the White House.
