Batesville Agency Gets Big Grant from Feds

BATESVILLE, AR - The federal government has awarded $410,000 to Health Resources of Arkansas in Batesville to improve health care services in 20 counties.

The counties are located in the Delta and are underserved.

Congressman Marion Berry says as the number of Americans without health insurance continues to grow, federal dollars for health care become increasingly important.  Health Resources of Arkansas will work with a consortium of health-care providers, known as the Delta Hills Rural Health network, to provide care in the eastern Arkansas counties.
