Sharp County Plans Economic Summit

ASH FLAT, AR - Sharp County citizens and leaders will have a special opportunity on October 26, to shape their county's future.  The Sharp County Economic Development Association, in cooperation with the North Central Arkansas Economic Development Corp and the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service will sponsor the Sharp County Economic Summit at the Omaha Recreation Center in Cherokee Village.

The summit will include a brief look at the economy of Sharp County and north-central Arkansas, and a review of economic development recommendations for the region.

Participants will have an opportunity to set priorities for development of the county and form study action teams to begin developing strategies to address those priorities.
