Bush to Visit Rogers Next Week, Speak About Economy

ROGERS, AR - President Bush is to visit Rogers on Monday, where he is to include a speech on ecnomic policies in a full day of events.

Bush is to travel to Rogers from his ranch at Crawford, Texas.

Bush is to visit a business that makes retail display cases, Stribling Packaging, in the morning.  The president will later speak about the budget at the John Q. Hammons Convention Center.  About 300 Arkansas business leaders are invited to the event.

A spokesman for Republican Congressman John Boozman says the trip gives northwest Arkansas a chance to draw attention to some of its business-related attributes, such as the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas and the Arkansas World Trade Center in Rogers.
