Berry Pulls in Most Campaign Cash Among Arkansas House Members

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Congressman Marion Berry raised the most for his re-election bid among Arkansas' four House members over the past quarter.

That's according to reports filed with the Federal Election Commission.

Berry, a Democrat representing the First District, raised nearly $295,000 over the past three months, bringing his total contributions to more than $538,000.  Berry reported about $67,000 in expenditures and ended the quarter with about $450,000 in cash on hand.

Congressman Mike Ross, a Democrat, raised more than $156,000 during the quarter, bringing his total contributions to nearly $560,000.  Ross reported spending more than $52,000 and ended the quarter with about $817,000 in cash on hand.

Republican Congressman John Boozman raised more than $29,000, bringing his total contributions to more than $85,000.  He reported almost $19,000 in expenditures and ended the quarter with about $135,000 cash on hand.

Congressman Vic Snyder, a Democrat, reported no contributions during the period ending September 30 and said he's raised $6,900 to date.  Snyder reported spending more than $7,000 and had $6,900 in cash on hand.
