Arkansas Firefighters, SeMo Volunteers on Stand-By for California

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Arkansas firefighters are prepared to head to southern California to help fight the devastating wildfires there.  Between 30 and 100 state and federal firefighters have readied to move out if they are called.  The California fires have burned more than 1,000 homes, and more than a half-million people have been evacuated.

Meanwhile in southeast Missouri, three volunteers with the Southeast Missouri chapter of the American Red Cross have deployed to assist residents in southern California.  With the situation there still escalating, Red Cross supplies and volunteers are en route to SoCal by the thousands.
