Beebes Head to Bahamas for Vacation

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Arkansas gets a new governor today...at least for a few days.  Governor Beebe and wife Ginger Beebe head to the Bahamas today for a short vacation, and Lt. Governor Bill Halter will be acting governor.

Spokesman Matt DeCample says it will be the first vacation for Beebe since he became governor in January.  DeCample says the governor will travel to Nassau and is scheduled to be out of the state through Wednesday.
