Casting Call Planned in Memphis for Oliver Stone Film

MEMPHIS, TN - Director Oliver Stone is looking for some Mid-South talent to appear in a Vietnam War epic he plans to shoot in Thailand over the winter holidays.

He's looking for white men aged 20 to 50 years old who could play soldiers from the 1960s.

The Oscar-winning director of "Platoon" plans a casting call at the FedEx Forum on November 17.

The movie "Pinkville" stars Bruce Willis as an Army general investigating the 1968 My Lai massacre.

Stone previously worked in Memphis as a producer in 1996's "The People vs. Larry Flynt."
