Ozarka College Plans Groundbreaking in Ash Flat

ASH FLAT, AR - Ozarka College officials will break ground on a new 9,200 square-foot  facility in Ash Flat on December 4.  The ceremony is set for 10:30 a.m. at the building site on College Drive.

The 30-acre tract of land was donated to the college by First National Banking Company and Bob Watson in March of 2002.  The college's original 16,000-foot building in Ash Flat opened in the Spring of 2005.

With the increased number of students and the expanded LPN program in Ash Flat, along with the support of a local sales tax, the Ozarka College Board of Trustees and administration began planning the new construction earlier this year.
