JONESBORO, AR -- One little piggy went to the market and one little piggy went home...but a bus load of piggies were laughing all the way back to Fayetteville from Baton Rouge Friday night.
The Arkansas Razorbacks knocked off number one ranked Louisiana State University yesterday and the upset is meaning some big bucks for Region 8.
"I thought they weren't going to win at first but then they caught up," said 12-year-old fan Morgan Taylor.
A three overtime, two point win against the number one team in the country left fans surprised a coach employed...
"I figure he probably kept his job yesterday. A lot of fans wanted to get rid of him, but I think he may end up staying," said Trumann resident Scott Taylor.
...and plenty more folks in business.
"Business has been great. Hog fans are some of the most loyal fans on the face of this earth," said Arkansas Sports Fan owner Linda Robinson.
Good boys and girls may find some SEC stocking stuffers under the tree this year. And if the team finds itself at a bowl game, business is expected to pick up at places like the Arkansas Sports Fan store in Jonesboro.
"Whether is a D-Mac jersey or whatever the case, I've got all kinds of Razorback stuff at home and I just can't never seem to find enough, so I just need more and more and more!" laughed fan Ricky Clifton who traveled from South Haven, MS to shop.
"Anytime we have a big win like that there's going to be more customers in here...we have a shirt coming in that reads 'LS-Who?' and that will be in next week and we are taking orders for that so yea, Christmas is going to be great this year," smiled Robinson.
