Habitat for Humanity Breaks Ground on Innovative New Home

JONESBORO, AR - Habitat for Humanity officials joined with Jonesboro Mayor Doug Formon and other community and business leaders this morning in breaking ground on a new house at 439 Drake Street.

The new project will be a steel-framed home, with construction materials donated by Nucor Steel of Arkansas.  Jonesboro-based Steel Frames, LLC owner Jerry Myers and manager David Riddle will donate pre-assembly services and assist as on-site advisors for the home.

The Crowley's Ridge Development Council donated the land for the project, which is the 14th Habitat for Humanity home to be constructed in Jonesboro.
