OAK GROVE-It's name is love, it's mission is to help those women addicited to recover their lives. The new Agape House opened it's doors Saturday in Oak Grove.
On Friday the red ribbon fell and Saturday the Agape House let family and friends in for a look at the new house.
Local ministers blessed the home and the founder of the home Sunny Curtis spoke of her time of addiction that lead to the formation of the ministry.
The Agape House is a transitional home where women can come and rebuild their lives through Christian teaching.
Former resident and graduate of the program Joanna Rauls told me that." Inside this house it gives the girls hope, it gives them a chance, it gave me a chance."
After the dedication guests, family and friends formed a prayer circle around the building, a circle of love.
And if you had to sum up the Agape House in one word, what would it be? I'll give you a hint, it's in the name.
