December 3, 2007--Posted at 5:45 p.m. CST

JONESBORO, AR-- ASU basketball star Adrian Banks is arrested after allegedly firing a 9mm pistol outside Envisions night club in Jonesboro. According to police reports, Banks, a senior at ASU, was pulled over by police after the incident and all five people in the vehicle were identified as ASU athletes.  Police found the pistol under the back seat of the Chevy Avalanche.

In his statement to police, Banks said, " A fight was breaking out at the club. I found the gun on the ground and didn't want anyone to get shot, so I shot the gun until it was empty."

Banks posted bond and was since released, but has been indefinitely suspended from the ASU basketball team.
