California Foundation Offering Reward in Tusing Murder Mystery

JONESBORO, AR - A California-based foundation is now offering $5,000 for information that would solve a seven-year-old murder mystery in eastern Craighead County.

The Carole Sund-Carrington Memorial Reward Foundation has agreed to pay the amount if law enforcement authorities solve the death of Amanda Tusing of Dell.  The then 20-year-old woman's body was found in a drainage ditch near Lester in June of 2000, just days after she was reported missing by her family.  Tusing was last seen alive as she left her fiance's Jonesboro apartment on June 15, 2000.  Her vehicle was found alongside Highway 18 near Monette a few hours later, but there was no sign of a struggle.

The foundation was set up in honor of murder victim Carole Sund-Carrington, and uses certain criteria for selecting cases for rewards.
