Report on Bus Crash Awaits Evidence

LITTLE ROCK, AR - The Arkansas State Police say a final report on a bus crash that killed three people near Forrest City in November remains uncompleted.

Spokesman Bill Sadler says troopers are waiting on state Crime Laboratory analysis of blood and urine samples from the bus driver Felix Badillo Tapia.  Sadler says troopers also want a federal report examining the bus' mechanical aspects before issuing a final report.

Two people on the bus were killed, as was the driver of a pickup truck that was involved in the November 25 crash after the bus crossed the median on Interstate 40.  A tractor-trailer rig was also involved in the accident.
