Earl Bell Community Center Approved for National Historic Register

JONESBORO, AR - The State Review Board of the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program has approved the nomination of the Earl Bell Community Center in Jonesboro to the National Register of Historic Places.  The nomination will now be forwarded to the National Register's staff in Washington, where it will be reviewed.

The facility, located at 1212 South Church Street, was built in 1936 as part of the federally-funded Public Works Administration Projects.
