ASU Student Spends Vacation On The Campaign Trail

JONESBORO (KAIT) - With all eyes on the presidential campaign trail one region 8 college student isn't waiting until election day for her voice to be heard.

Paulina Korobova hit the road for Hillary Clinton.

"She's very charismatic and she's very strong," said Korobova.

20-year old Paulina Korobova is a junior at Arkansas state.

While most college students are spending their holiday vacation relaxing, Paulina was hot on the campaign trail volunteering for camp Clinton.

"I have never seen so many people put so much effort into something. You work from 9 in the morning to 9 at night.  It's for free, and you're doing it because you see something in this person to make a change," said Korobova.

"If people didn't believe in her than they wouldn't put in that much effort," said Korobova.

Paulina spent 10 days in Iowa helping the Clinton camp rally votes. From packing boxes with Hillary t shirts and stickers to knocking on doors, Paulina says it was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

"If I hadn't been on that trip, I wouldn't be as tuned in and as involved right now, and as interested. Once you put in your time and effort you have more at stake. People can contribute money and stuff, but it's not as valueable as your personal time," said Korobova.

She was energized upon her return to Arkansas.......recognzing the importance of young voters to each candidates campaign.

She urges young people to get involved, ask questions, and realize the importance of each election and each vote.

"Our future is at stake here. We are the generation that's going to experience the president for the next four or eight years," said Korobova.
