Senate Program Provides Computers for Some Arkansas Schools

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Senator Blanche Lincoln's office says five Arkansas schools are getting computers through a Senate program to provide surplus computers to classrooms.

Each year, the Senate Sergeant at Arms office allows senators, based on seniority, to donate five computers each to five public schools.

The 25 computers that Lincoln is giving away will go to Lucilia Wood Elementary in Elaine, Chicot Elementary in Little Rock, Meadowcliff Elementary in Little Rock, Tilles Elementary in Fort Smith, and Gardener-Strong Elementary in Strong.

Lincoln is taking part in the program for the fourth year.  She has placed more than 75 computers in Arkansas schools.
