Batesville High School Honored

BATESVILLE, AR (KAIT) - U.S. News and World Report recently listed Batesville High as one of the top 100 American schools and now Superintendent Ted Hall has plans to dedicate a day in celebration of the school.

This isn't the school's first recognition either, as the junior high school was rated as a top school by Just For Kids.  Hall cites the faculty and staff as a catalyst for the success.

Junior High Principal Harry Crossett said two of the school's big strengths are the strength of curricula and the safety of the campus coupled with good behavior of the pupils.

Batesville High School was recently selected for a pilot program through Triand and is participating in a Hitachi program that creates training and in-class technology for teaching arithmetic.
