Plea Deal for Sikeston Couple Accused of Supplying Alcohol to Teens

SIKESTON, MO - A southeast Missouri couple accused of supplying alcohol for their son's high school graduation party pleads guilty to amended charges.

Mark Cheatham and Terry Brewer Cheatham of Sikeston originally faced 30 counts each of supplying alcohol to minors.  Under a plea agreement announced by their attorney on Wednesday, they pleaded guilty to four misdemeanor counts of allowing minors to drink on their property.  But the couple denied that they supplied the liquor.

They were fined $500 for each charge.

The case stemmed from a party at the couple's home in May.
