Police Taking Precautionary Measures After Threat at School in Bootheel

SENATH, MO - Law enforcement officers in Dunklin County are taking precautionary measures in Senath today after an apparent threat was made toward some students at the Senath-Hornersville High School.

Superintendent Larry Woods confirmed that officers with the Dunklin County Sheriff's Department are patrolling the campus and its exterior areas this morning as a result of the threat.  Woods stressed that no one has been harmed or injured, but that the incident had "caused quite a stir this morning" in the community.
