Missouri May Get Boost to Meth Programs, Will It Help?

MISSOURI (KAIT) - Missouri's anti-meth program could get a big boost in the way of financial support.

The "Show Me State" currently makes more than 20-percent of the nation's meth lab busts each year.

Majority of the funding for the anti-meth program comes from the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance grant.

President Bush is looking at adding 30-million dollars to the program for 2009, but Missouri Senator Kit Bond says the state need three times that to keep the program running efficiently.
