BALD KNOB, AR (KAIT) - White County authorities arrested four individuals on drug charges over the weekend.

The grand slam begins Friday the 15th, with 43-year old Ralph Wesley Huntsman, Jr. of Bald Knob.  White County Sheriff's Department and the Central Arkansas Drug Task Force assisted the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections with their investigation, which led them to a methamphetamine lab near Heard Road.

The lab was seized and Huntsman was arrested and charged with manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.  He was transported to the White County Detention Center and as of today, remains in jail on a $50,000 bond.

The next day, Judsonia Police and White County Sheriff's officials arrested 31-year old Daniel Woodruff of Bald Knob during a traffic stop.  During the stop, officers discovered Woodruff not only had drugs on him, but a loaded firearm.

He was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, and use of a communication facility.  Like Huntsman, Woodruff was transported to the White County Detention Center and remains jailed on a $50,000 bond.

The last arrests occurred Sunday.  Pangburn Police Department and the White County Sheriff's Department arrested 22-year old Brandon Lee King of Judsonia and 24-year old Charles E. Collier of Kensett for possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.

Both King and Collier were transported to the White County Detention Center.  King's bond was set at $10,000.00 and Collier had a bond of $6,450.00.  Both are out on bond as of today.

Following the arrests, Sheriff Ricky Shourd expressed gratitude to neighboring police departments as well as to state police and the Drug Task Force.  Shourd also said that White County deputies would continue to work diligently in the fight against drugs.
